Based on the popular video game franchise of the same name, the series is due to debut on Prime Video on April 12, 2024. The cast of the series includes Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten.
Official character descriptions are as follows:
–Purnell plays Lucy. “Lucy is an optimistic Vault Dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when people harm her loved ones.”
–Moten plays Maximus. “A young soldier hides his tragic past as he serves in a militaristic faction called Brotherhood of Steel. He believes in the nobility of the Brotherhood’s mission to bring law and order to the Wasteland–and will do anything to further their goals.”

–Kyle MacLachlan plays Overseer Hank. “Hank is the Overseer of Vault 33 and Lucy’s father. He is eager to change the world for the better.”
The official description of the series states “takes place in a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. The story begins in Vault 33, one such bunker that is a prominent setting in the video games.”

Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the duo behind “Westworld,” executive produce via Kilter Films under their Amazon overall deal.
