Hallmark Media is setting sail for a new limited unscripted docuseries.
The series, with the working title “Hallmark Christmas Cruise,” will provide an exclusive look inside the immersive Christmas-themed experience, highlighting heartwarming moments. Different stars from the network will be on board, as guests will take part in an exclusive countdown to a world premiere of a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie. The docuseries will feature superfans as they prepare for their vacation at home and throughout their five-day journey on board the ship.
In July, Hallmark announced their first ever Hallmark Christmas Cruise; just one week after the announcement, it was sold out and they added a second set of dates. Both trips, now sold out, will take place for four nights, each on the Norwegian Gem. The series’ cameras will follow the second sailing from November 17-21, capturing the magic of the cruise through the fans’ eyes.

Both cruise trips will travel from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas and feature a variety of Hallmark stars hosting festive holiday-themed competitions, events and meet-and-greets. It will also boast panels with different Hallmark stars, a movie marathon and a chance to explore the Bahamas.

The series is produced by Big Fish Entertainment, an Amazon MGM Studios Company, for Hallmark Media. Executive producers are Lucilla D’Agostino and Jordana Starr for Big Fish Entertainment.
“We hear time and time again that people want to immerse themselves in the world of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies and this venture is sure to bring our brand to life in a new, captivating way,” Natalie Vandergast, Hallmark Media’s vp of consumer products says of the cruise. “We are delighted to count down to Christmas 2024 aboard an adventure that will allow our stars and enthusiastic fanbase alike to create everlasting memories together at sea.”
Jeff Cuellar, vp of events, marketing and community, Sixthman, adds, “From sugar plums to reindeers, ornaments to caroling and so much more.
