The wife of popular Nigerian Juju singer, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, better known as King Sunny Ade, has reportedly died. A report obtained by Naija News revealed that Hon Risikat Ajoke Adegeye died on Tuesday morning. The deceased is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, and was once the member representing Amuwo- Odofin Local Government at the Lagos State House of Assembly. She served between 2011 and 2015.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Committee (PCC) said on Saturday that the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has tried his utmost best to reconcile with the G-5 governors but to no avail. The G5 governors include Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and Ifeanyi Igwuanyi (Enugu).
