Reactions As Supreme Court Rules Against Buhari

Nigerians have reacted to the ruling of the Supreme Court on Friday declaring Executive Order 10 issued by President Muhammadu Buhari as unlawful and unconstitutional. Naija News reports that six out of the seven-member panel of the Supreme Court ruled against the executive order and gave victory to the state governors who had challenged the declaration by the President. It held that it was not the responsibility of the Federal Government to fund the capital and recurrent expenditures of the superior courts created for States under Section six of the Constitution.
