After the 2024 Pokémon World Championships, the company also announced the return of popular Trainer’s Cards to the trading card game. In the past, specialized cards, like Misty’s Starmie, Rocket’s Scyther and Brock’s Onix, paid homage to popular characters from the “Pokémon” anime and video games. Next year will see the return of the Trainer’s Cards format, including Lillie’s Clefairy EX, Marnie’s Grimmsnarl EX, N’s Zoroark EX and N’s Reshiram. The new trailer also teased the return of cards inspired by the villainous Team Rocket.
